Born in Philadelphia, Matt was raised in Calgary, Canada and is a multi-faceted artist writing/directing/designing films and creating music along side his painting practice.

"I'm interested in what others see in my artwork. I know what they are and what they represent to me, but it's really about creating a feeling for someone else and I like to hear about what that is."
