Mauricio Lozano is an award-winning professional photographer, filmmaker, multimedia producer, art director, and digital content creator with more than 27 years of experience in photography, journalism, advertising, communications, graphic design, and multimedia production.
Originally from Mexico City, and now based in Calgary, Alberta, Mauricio built much of his career with Grupo Reforma, one of Mexico’s leading newspaper organizations, where he worked for more than two decades in photography, multimedia production, and visual journalism. His work has received multiple Society of News Design (SND) awards in New York and has appeared in numerous publications, magazine covers, and editorial projects.
His expertise spans professional photography, cinematography, lighting, color management, video production, drone photography, graphic design, web development, and digital marketing. He has produced work for editorial, advertising, food, product, architecture, real estate, jewelry, corporate, and cultural clients.

He also has extensive experience working with professional dancers and has presented his fine-art photography internationally, including his solo exhibition Opera Prima in Guadalajara.

In Calgary, Mauricio operates Mauricio Lozano Pro Photography and Video, providing photography, filmmaking, multimedia production, graphic design, web development, and digital content services. He also works as a multimedia producer and has contributed his expertise to cultural, business, and community organizations.
