Melinda is a Filipino-Canadian artist based in Toronto with a background in fashion design and fine art. She has a career in event planning and has returned to art with a focus on painting.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

I believe EVERY body is a work of art. Inspired by evolving representations of the female form, my work reflects a personal narrative on body image—from once-limited ideals to a broader acceptance of diversity. My work aims to empower women to love their size and shape at every life stage. Working in acrylic, I balance strength and softness through colour, while intuitive brushstrokes echo the body’s curves, movement, and resilience.
