Michelle's artistic journey began in the 90's at University of Alberta, where she obtained a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts. While primarily focusing on painting and sculpture, she also contributed a regular cartoon trip to the university newspaper. This passion for visual storytelling continued throughout her life and today she paints from her home studio in Gibsons, British Columbia. She explores themes on the human condition and is primarily focused on questions around consciousness, and the near possibility that AI may one day become conscious.
