Mike Brouse has been painting since 2010 & is an nonobjective abstract artist. He has won juror's choice awards in the Woodstock Art Gallery Juried Exhibitions, VE60, & VE64. Is a member of the OSA & participated in the 2022 OSA's Breath Heart Spirit, Lieutenant Governor's Suite Exhibition at Queen's Park.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

I am a nonobjective painter. I approach my work without a design in mind. I am totally open to the process of laying in spontaneous marks, shapes & colours. I look to being surprised and excited by the final composition.
