ARTIST’S STATEMENT
As a committed environmentalist, my works integrate an interest in the abstract with a deep environmental sensitivity making use of the discards and castoffs from both the natural and manufactured worlds. Anything from plastics, litter, and store receipts, to bark, seeds, and lawn cuttings are incorporated with acrylic paint to bring together captivating multimedia works that cast the unwanted in an appealing, surprising, and often humorous light. I bring a creative twist to today's mantra of Reduce. Reuse, and Recycle
