ARTIST’S STATEMENT

Miles A. Thomas (Often penned as or signed with initials MAT'94), is an interdisciplinary Artist, Philosopher, Poet and Writer. His works, constructed primarily as drawing and multi-media collage, weave axioms of African and Black culture with American aestheticism, via complex interplays of pragmatism, provisionality, quilting heritage, and Afro-American traditions.
