Hi, I'm Minami, a self-taught artist based in Toronto.
I was born and raised in Japan and moved to Canada to explore American culture in 2019.
Since I was studying Interior/Lifestyle design at a junior college in Japan, I started acrylic painting.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

I love to paint patterns, abstract art, and nature on canvas that idea comes from my normal life. I'm happy if my colorful paintings suit your favorite interior and talk to you with good vibes.

I visited to my friend's house and painted together.
I picked a bell pepper from their fridge because I liked the color, then painted while chatting and framed it by myself later.
