Mitch Harrison
Mitch Harrison began his career shooting tabletop products and corporate portraitures, then changed directions and became thoroughly entrenched in feature films, documentaries and TV commercial production before returning to his passion for photography.
His work has been featured in galleries and art festivals in Toronto and has been published in the British magazine, Practical Photography.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT
For me, capturing an image through a camera lens is merely the first step in a visual evolution. I have to move away from the predictable and create an altered perspective by introducing new colours, layered textures and modified light and shadow, all working to form a unique and very personal visual experience.
