Otilia Scriuba
Otilia Gruneantu Scriuba is a mixed media artist interested in colour, line, texture, spatiality through layering, spontaneous gestures, visible brushstrokes and symbols, such as archetypal, cultural and personal symbols. She creates complex narrative artwork exploring the unconscious, as well as her feelings and emotions generated by different personal events, places where she lived or that she visited and occasionally by some current issues, such as women’s role and image in society or racial conflict.
