I am a New York–based contemporary figurative and Symbolist painter and fashion designer. With a background in both art and fashion, I work across multiple collections and themes, allowing each to develop its own distinct visual language. My paintings are inspired by memory, imagination, personal experiences, cultural influences, and the world around me. I bring my art and fashion together under one creative identity, unified by my PLI name and logo.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

I do not see painting as decoration alone. For me, painting is a way of exploring what I have experienced, remembered, imagined, and carried with me throughout my life. My background across Eastern and Western cultures, together with my work in fashion and design, has shaped the way I understand color, composition, proportion, symbolism, and beauty.
I work through different collections because different ideas ask for different visual languages. Some of my paintings come from memory, dreams, personal experiences, and the human condition; others explore nature, cultural identity, portraiture, transformation, or imagination. I am interested in solitude, ambition, desire, memory, awakening, peace, and freedom, and in how these experiences can be expressed visually without always needing words.
I do not expect every painting to look the same. What connects them is the way I see and experience the world. Whether I am painting a person, a butterfly, a memory, or an imagined place, I want the work to carry something beyond its physical subject—a feeling, a story, or a moment that remains with the viewer. My different collections come together under one creative identity, unified by my PLI signature.
