Porsche Major

Porsche Major is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist based in the Washington, DC area. Her creative practice is rooted in bold color, cultural nostalgia, and shared memory. Although she began drawing at an early age, Porsche initially pursued a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a corporate career before returning to art with intention.
Her work explores familiar cultural references—often food, childhood moments, and everyday experiences—using vibrant palettes to evoke emotion, recognition, and joy. Guided by lived experience as a Black artist and mother, Porsche creates work that feels both personal and widely relatable. Through accessible symbolism and playful composition, her art invites viewers to reconnect with memory, culture, and the beauty found in ordinary moments.
