Priscilla Mars

Priscilla Mars is a Mexican-American Los Angeles-based photographic artist from Fresno, CA. Her work is often inspired by immersion in urban and natural landscapes, exploring and interpreting how our environments are constructed and how they make us feel. Through the process of investigating places in depth, often from a wandering pedestrian’s point of view, new ways of seeing are uncovered. Using experimental digital processes and extreme closeups, she examines the mutating landscape of neighborhoods and cities through the lens of psychogeography, Mars' work has been shown at the Crowell Public Library of the City of San Marino, Consulate General of Mexico in Los Angeles, Gogga Books, among others. She has been featured in many publications, including Der Grief, Musee Magazine, Fierce by Mitu, Blumenhaus Magazine. She lives and works in Los Angeles and is an alumnus of UCLA.
