ARTIST’S STATEMENT
I paint in oil to capture the feeling of a moment — the colour, light, and atmosphere that make an ordinary scene feel worth looking up for. My process begins with lived experience and photo reference, then shifts into intuitive painting as layers develop and memory influences the work. Whether I’m drawn to a landscape, an interior, or a fragment from travel, I follow what sparks presence and curiosity. Each piece reflects a balance of structure and emotion, inviting viewers to pause, reconnect, and share in the beauty found in small, fleeting moments.
