Rene Nascimento is a Brazilian painter based in NYC. He holds a Fine Arts degree from School of Fine Arts of the Federal University of Minas Gerais Brazil. He also studied at fine art institute of FAAP SP, Parque Lage RJ, and Art Students League of NY. He worked in Brazil with textile and interior design. He has been exhibiting in United States, Europe and Asia. His varied themes include portraits, murals, and his currently theme of NYC Cityscapes and Bicycles. Rene has received various awards for his achievement promoting art and Brazilian culture in USA.
