Riesbri is an artist originally from Paraguay, raised in Brazil, and now based in Montreal, Canada. Drawing inspiration from a diverse background and mixed Indigenous roots, Riesbri delves into themes of identity, forced migration, displacement, and climate issues.

Working across a variety of mediums — sculpture, woodwork, metal, ceramics, painting, and design — Riesbri creates pieces that weave together abstraction and figurative forms, evoking a playful and accessible aesthetic inspired by the cartoon universe and the Kiki and Bouba effect.
Through hybrid compositions blending biographical narratives, cultural references, and ecological concerns, Riesbri builds dialogues between organic and industrial elements. Their work reflects a quest to redefine the relationship between humans, their environment, and the spaces they inhabit, while pondering the tension between utility and rebellion. Rooted in processes of reassembly and transformation, Riesbri examines the connections between urban life, biodiversity, and cultural identity, offering a vision where art and community intersect.
