Ruth holds an honours computer science degree with a minor in fine art from the University of Guelph and she worked in the technology industry for 30 years. She's equally comfortable using a keyboard or a paint brush and allows her logical process happy side and her creative chaos loving side to both inform anything that she does.

Her inspiration comes from the Ontario landscape, her garden, her family and her dog. She works out of her home studio in Guelph, Ontario.
