Sara Abedi
Sara Abedi was born in Iran in 1979. Throughout her life, Sara has always been fascinated by images other artists painting. Sara started to paint with pencil. After a while and when she grown up recognized she was interested to Persian painting. First, she started with Miniature, and then continued with Tazhib. Sara has also trained to paint Gol O Morgh (flower and bird).
Now, besides all of these, Sara is focusing on Geometric design that is traditional art.
She paint with Gouche and Acrylic and watercolor.
She passed a short term with oil colour.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT
My artwork shows traditional art, including Illumination, Geometry, and Biomorphic (Islimi).
Illumination means gilding in the word, that patterns are drawn with gold and are painted in black.
This kind of painting is Persian traditional painting.
