I was born and raised in the beautiful Willamette Valley in Oregon, where my love of nature deeply influenced my artistic perception. After moving to Portland, Oregon, I began exhibiting my work in regional galleries and the Portland Art Museum. From the mid-1970s to the 1980s, my paintings were also shown in Seattle, Denver, Portland, San Francisco, and Hawaii.

In the late 1970s, I taught drawing at the Pacific Northwest College of Art before moving to Puerto Rico in the mid-1980s. There, I continued to showcase my paintings of exotic flora and island landmarks in gallery and museum exhibitions. In 1994, I relocated to New York and began exhibiting my work in Cleveland, New York City, and on Long Island. My work was featured in a major group exhibition titled "ENERGY, the Power of Art" at the Nassau County Museum of Art. I now reside in Greenport, Long Island, NY.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

For the past two decades, I have dedicated my artistic practice to exploring the unseen energy fields that permeate our environment. My journey began in the intimate setting of my garden, where I contemplated the invisible radio waves—such as those used in cellular phone transmissions—that constantly surround us. This curiosity soon expanded to encompass a broader scientific inquiry into other forms of transmission, including sound, scent, magnetic fields, neutrinos, and even microorganisms.
