Shan is a multidisciplinary artist and tattooist whose creative journey began with graffiti at a young age, where art first revealed itself as a lifestyle and a form of living expression. As the owner of The Fountainhead Tattoo, Shan brings that same expressive energy into refined tattoo craftsmanship, balancing bold visual impact with technical precision. Beyond tattooing, Shan pursues fine art through original paintings and limited-edition prints, through series such as Whisky Nights & Days and Blank Canvas that explore narrative, symbolism, and the intersection of tattoo culture and traditional painting.

My work is rooted in the idea of art as lived experience, born from a lifelong engagement with visual expression that began with graffiti culture. From those early years painting walls, I developed a deep appreciation for dynamic form, scale, and the way images communicate in public space. This foundation informs all aspects of my practice today, whether I’m working on canvas or skin.

I explore the intersection of street-inspired energy and refined technique, using bold contrasts, layered surfaces, and expressive mark-making to evoke personal narrative and emotional resonance. My pieces invite viewers to consider art both as aesthetic experience and as a reflection of lived moments, combining spontaneity with thoughtful composition.
