My name is Shimoni and I’m an artist based in Toronto.

For me, Art is all about exploring yourself and expressing your feelings.

My art is rooted in introspection. Painting gives me the stillness to listen to myself, to explore questions without needing answers, and translate my emotions and feelings onto the canvas in front of me, like a release.

Art, for me, is fluid. I’m not someone with just one style, as I believe inspiration comes in many forms, and so should expression. I create by instinct, letting each piece reflect the energy of the moment. I work primarily with acrylics, textured paints, and mixed media to bring emotion and depth into each of my pieces.
