I’ve always felt the need to express myself through art. My outlet has been through music mostly. Writing, recording and playing guitar predominately. More recently I’ve gravitated to painting and drawing as a means of expression. I find it very relaxing and satisfying. I’ve always been drawn to art that is thought provoking and unusual.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT
I create mannequin pop art.
I use acrylic paints, acrylic pens and more recently have incorporated hydrographics in my work. They are finished in a high gloss varnish. I’m inspired by whatever I’m feeling in the moment so each piece contains multiple themes and colour combinations. My intent is for them to be visually stunning as a whole but also designed so individual parts can be displayed as works on their own.
