Primarily self directed, my art education includes course work at the Toronto School of Art, Halliburton School of the Arts, as well as numerous workshops with an array of phenomenal instructors from across Ontario.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

I am a mixed media artist focused on figurative abstraction. Merging figures into textured backgrounds expresses our interconnectedness and shared responsibilities: we are our contexts. Starting with abstract collages, I integrate images from my life drawing sketches or personal photos, transforming chaos into tranquil, contemplative art.
