Thiviyaa Sehasothy is a Toronto artist and painter with a passion for evoking emotion through her artwork. Her paintings have bold & heavy brushstrokes, bright colours and influenced by her experiences, travels, and the world around her. The artistic exchange between the outdoors and her canvas is very evident in her work. Thiviyaa's work ranges from landscape, abstract to portraiture. She is best known for her vibrant colours and texture acrylic and oil paintings. She is passionate about creating beautiful artwork for others and they are all an extension of who she is.

The narrative behind each painting is the most important feature for her artwork. Leaving an emotion, a feeling and connecting with a story is the ultimate goal.

Featured in over 18 exhibits around Toronto, including Nuit Blanche, Thiviyaa's work has received critical acclaim and was chosen as a juror's choice. Additionally, her work was published in two art books and used in fashion and creative shoots in Ontario.

Thiviyaa works with private and corporate clients to create custom paintings that reflect their unique story and aesthetics.

Celebrating life and the beautiful world around us by capturing it on my canvas is my way of expressing my feelings. As a Canadian abstract & landscape artist, I am inspired by the life around me and the issues close to my heart. I hope to inspire through colour.
