ARTIST’S STATEMENT

The desire to create art is woven into my DNA. It was in my childhood that I fell in love with art - it is my my passion, my essence.

My aspiration is to create an art centered on peace and light, radiating the unifying energy of life, the art of balance and happiness, free from troubling or depressing subject matter.

Some of my paintings have recognizable elements while others are fully abstract, some are light-hearted, others are profound. By rich symbolic use of undulating, ribbon-like shapes that flow and intertwine, I embrace the world around us and invite the viewer to enter.

I truly love colors and am not afraid to use them. My bright, vivid artworks attract attention, reach people's hearts, resonate there, inspire thoughts and influence the mind with positive energy.

Throughout my career as a multidimensional artist and educator, I have mastered diverse media including watercolor, oil, gouache, acrylic, pastel, ink, stained glass paint, etc.
Working with mixed media. I build three-dimensional surfaces using modelling paste, stained glass paint, metallic leaf and resin.
My work explores various surfaces such as paper, canvas, wood and glass, each offering its own unique possibilities.

Trained by four mentors: Fine Arts, Commercial Art, formal education and my father, I have studied art, painted, experimented, and explored various forms of expression throughout my life. To this day, I continue my journey of learning and growth with no intention of ever stopping.
