Voyo Woo

Voyo Woo is a Chinese American artist based in New York and New Jersey, known for her practice of traditional Chinese paper cutting since the age of 14. A self-taught artist, Woo earned a master’s degree in Curatorial Studies in Contemporary Art from Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York and London. In 2016, she won a national contest co-hosted by the Rauschenberg Foundation, which led to an invitation to the White House for the awards ceremony. Her work has been featured in public media and exhibited at prestigious venues such as the White House Visitors Center, Sotheby's Auction House, Montclair Art Museum, and Tysons Corner Center. Throughout her diverse career, Woo has also held roles as a camerawoman, live TV producer, State Department interpreter, auction house administrator and an energy-balancing coach.
