ARTIST’S STATEMENT

I explore the physical transformations and spatial constraints of women's labor through various mediums such as painting, photography, and installation. My focus extends beyond the changes in the body during labor to the impact of these changes on individuals' physical and mental well-being within specific spaces. By observing and portraying labor scenes and the spaces of both work and home, I examine how societal norms, both normal and abnormal, shape expectations regarding women's bodies and spaces within the social context. I strive to break away from stereotypical impressions of the female body and delve into how the relationship between body and space is shaped and shaping, influencing both self-perception and social positioning.
