Zion Learmond

Zion Learmond a Toronto-based visual artist working primarily with acrylic paint and
pencil. Over the past eight years, I have developed a multidisciplinary practice that explores
how complex thoughts and emotions can be compartmentalized—boxed within a single
mental space. This theme influences my compositions, guiding how I layer imagery and
meaning to reflect the inner workings of the mind.
Currently completing my final year in the Fine Arts program at Durham College, I am
focused on deepening both my technical skill and conceptual research. My work is a
reflection of personal growth, internal dialogue, and the ongoing tension between order and
chaos within our thoughts.
I am committed to evolving as an artist through experimentation, critical reflection, and
community engagement. Through my practice, I aim to contribute to contemporary art
conversations and create work that invites viewers to explore their own mental landscape.
