ARTIST’S STATEMENT

Zoe's creative process involves making use of multiple layering in Silkscreen using transparent coloured inks to create a painterly and sketched feeling in the works. Zoe’s inspiration comes from the landscape scenes around her and her work depicts city scenes and places she has lived in or visited and then taken photos to initiate compositions. Her goal is to make the scenes come alive and feel lively through the multiple layers.
