ARTIST’S STATEMENT
Alice's work explores relational and embodied experience through abstract watercolour painting. Using fluid colour, diffusion, and soft-edged forms, she investigate how sensations such as touch, proximity, and emotional connection can be translated into visual form.
Working from lived experience—particularly motherhood— she approaches watercolour as a responsive medium that allows forms to emerge through interaction rather than control. The paintings function as atmospheric fields where colour holds and conveys feeling, focusing on connection, transformation, and the space between bodies.
