ARTIST’S STATEMENT
My creative process uses colour as a universal language. The flow of paint and colour is a way for me to give meaningful expression to feelings and experiences that are intuitively familiar. It is not about telling a story, but a way to capture emotion.
In my work, my goal is to create a feeling of peace from the mind and body. Every painting is created with different acrylic paints, inks, alcohol ink and mediums. My creations consist of using paint and ink on the canvas and letting it flow. Then adding finer details. The unpredictability of how a piece will turn out keeps me challenged and opened to opportunity. It is constantly helping me find new ways to explore consciousness and staying present with my process. My intention with my art is for it not only to be seen, but to be felt. Keeping you immersed in a journey of discovery.
