ARTIST’S STATEMENT
Andrea sees potential in the chaos of everyday life. Through sensory memory, she discovers connectivity by transforming ephemera and paint into joyful florals, enchanting avifauna and thought provoking narratives. With mixed media she manipulates surface by creating layers until the subject emerges. Oil painting is her medium of choice in creating emotive and sublime seascapes.
