ARTIST’S STATEMENT

Working primarily in acrylic, I am drawn to layering color, texture, and movement to evoke feeling rather than define a specific place. Coastal scenes, botanical forms, expansive skies, and shifting landscapes often appear throughout my work, reflecting both the calm and energy found in nature. I am particularly interested in how color and composition can transform emotion—capturing a sense of stillness, nostalgia, wonder, or renewal.

My paintings invite viewers to pause and experience a moment of connection, allowing space for personal interpretation and reflection. Through a blend of contemporary abstraction and landscape-inspired imagery, I aim to create work that brings beauty, warmth, and a sense of atmosphere into everyday spaces.
