Anique Ava is a native of New London, Connecticut residing in Virginia. As a young child she loved art, but forgot about that love along the way. In the early shutdown of COVID Anique contended with herself about her inadequacies and lack of talent. Within a week she found herself in an art store buying supplies and writing down thoughts which eventually became her book The ReUp. The ReUp written and illustrated by Anique served as the foundation of the art you see today. Her prayer is that in all we do, we can help every person we encounter rediscover their value despite what they've gone through.
