Ava Reynolds is a surrealist portrait painter and multimedia artist founded in Portland Oregon. Having had a near death experience in 2022 their life has never been the same. They draw from the extremes of life to make art, from their chronic illness, to NDE’s. Although these aspects may seem bad at first they find the beauty in the bizarre and fearful aspects of life, approaching each creation with a depth and understanding beyond the physical. Creating a blooming new image and face of the world within every art piece that many have yet to cross paths with.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

I work in various mediums including drawing, sculpture, painting, fabric-work and photography and sometimes combine those mediums within a single creation. Many of my works have hidden meanings through symbolism, conveying messages that aren’t seen at just a glance.
