In the early 1990s Carol-Anne Almquist attended Kwantlen College where she worked on her Fine Arts Certificate. Studying drawing, oil painting and art history. She has continued to learn from master artists through workshops and online classes.
She currently works in watercolour and acrylics and her commitment to her art practice grows stronger as time goes on.
Carol-Anne's artwork has been featured in The Art of Watercolour magazine, "Artist in the House"TV series as well a book called "Artists of British Columbia" by Leighdon Studios. Her artwork was the cover of The Sunshine Coast phone book 3 years in a row.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

I create light filled landscapes and floral art which express wonder at the natural world. I paint to remain present and to restore balance and harmony. My desire is to share it with others so they can remember that there is still beauty in the world.
