Constanza Gardeazabal
Constanza Gardeazábal, is an environmentalist and experimental artist. She was born in Bogotá, Colombia, South America, where she began her studies in Fine Arts at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. After a year of experiencing uncertainty in a tense political climate, she jumped at the opportunity to complete her studies in Toronto at the Ontario College of Arts (now OCAD).
Constanza then proceeded to further her studies in Art at the University of Guelph, Ontario obtaining a B.A. Honours degree in Fine Arts and graduating “with distinction”. Throughout her artistic career, which now spans over 25 years, she has participated in solo and group shows. Her pieces hang in private Canadian, Colombian, Italian, and German art collections. Constanza has now made London, Ontario- Canada, her home.
