ARTIST’S STATEMENT

About 13 years ago I was asked to make paintings that are beyond conventional beauty. It led me to practice which has been a challenge and a test of my commitment as an artist. I have struggled to make paintings I felt confident about and questioned myself as an artist many times but never gave it up. Perhaps I'm too critical of myself.
