Born and raised in India, Deepa Bangari’s sense of beauty was shaped early by the rich textures of nature, the warmth of earthy landscapes, and the quiet spirituality woven into everyday life. Those roots never left her. They live now in every layer of plaster, every stroke of the palette knife, every fragment of gold leaf she places with intention.
After earning her Master’s degree in Computer Applications, Deepa built a life far from the canvas, until the pull of creativity became impossible to ignore. She returned to art not as a hobby, but as a calling. Self-taught and deeply intuitive, she developed a signature mixed media practice combining acrylic, plaster, and gold leaf on canvas, work that feels as much as it looks.
Now based in Texas, Deepa creates abstract landscapes that speak a universal language: stillness, light, and the quiet beauty of being present. Her work has been featured in international exhibitions digitally through ARTBOXY, and continues to find its way into homes and hearts across the world.
