Hi! I’m Diana González, a Mexican artist and architect based in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Painting has always been my happy place. I work mainly with oil, acrylic, and watercolor, and I love creating realistic paintings that capture emotion, personality, and the little details that make every subject unique.

I specialize in custom pet portraits because I genuinely love painting dogs and turning the bond people have with their pets into something they can keep forever. I was honored to receive 2nd Place in the Gastown Painting Competition during a live painting event in Vancouver.

Every painting I create is made with patience, care, and lots of heart. My goal is to create artwork that feels personal, meaningful, and timeless.

I’m inspired by realism because I enjoy capturing the small details that bring a painting to life from the sparkle in a dog’s eyes to the texture of its fur and the emotions behind a cherished memory.

For me, every painting is more than a portrait. It’s a way to preserve a story and create something that will be loved for years to come.
