Felix Vanasse is an Ottawa based artist and poet whose artwork frequently reflects his love of nature and care for environmental causes, as well as his background in the LGBTQ+ community.

His work has graced the walls of many a cafe, library and book store in Ottawa and surrounding towns. In February of 2025, he was featured at Arts Court in a Winter Pride exhibition with the Ottawa Fringe Fest.

In 2023, Felix made his debut as a published author with If Your Heart is Burning, a collection of 50 original poems and 22 original full colour illustrations. In 2024, he painted his first mural in the front stairwell of L.E.Bolden Studio, a beautiful space for teaching and recording music in Ottawa.
