I am a multidisciplinary artist based in Toronto, with nearly a decade dedicated to developing my creative practice. My work centers on abstract painting and expands into collage and wearable art, often created from vintage textiles and other reclaimed materials. By giving new life to these fragments of the past, I explore ideas of memory, transformation, and renewal. My designs are colorful and chaotic, disorderly and ethereal.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

My artistic practice centers on reusing vintage and discarded textiles as the foundation for paintings and mixed-media collage works. I’m drawn to the expressive potential of fabric, and I use these materials to explore the relationship between color, pattern, and form. By combining bold color palettes with mismatched and unexpected textile pairings, I aim to create visually dynamic compositions that feel both playful and emotionally resonant.

My work is informed by personal reflection as well as broader social themes, and I approach each piece intuitively and allow the materials to guide the process. Transforming overlooked or discarded fabrics into vibrant artworks is central to my practice; it reflects my interest in sustainability while also highlighting the beauty that can emerge from what is often ignored.
