Colour has the power to change our mood and perspective, and I love to unlock that power through abstract art.

I started painting in the margins of a full-time career and kids. Now I'm lucky to be able to centre my creative goals, which are about reconnecting with fun, freedom, and imagination.

I'm a member of the North Toronto Group of Artists and the Artists' Network.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

My work often starts with a vivid mental image, then takes shape through a mix of planning and improv. The composition may take on a surprising new direction and then I figure out how to roll with it. My process is all about discovery and following my creative instincts through bold colours, contrasts, and textures.
