Jim Kerns is an award-winning photographer whose work has been part of various exhibitions including at the SFMOMA, Los Angeles Center of Photography, Praxis Photo Center (Minneapolis), Dallas Center of Photography, and the Black Box Gallery (Portland). His photos have been recognized in competitions by Center Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico and Fusion Gallery in Palm Springs, California. In addition, his photos have appeared in several publications, including TravelGirl Magazine, F-Stop magazine and Bay Area Parent.
Jim has done considerable work as a documentary filmmaker as well, producing and directing two international films: “Destination: Bangalore” (India) and “Destination Rossport” (Ireland) as part of the Global Economic Documentary series. His films have been featured on Amazon Prime (part of the Fandor collection), in national and international film festivals and on several PBS stations.
Jim currently lives in San Francisco, California.
