For more than fifteen years I have been painting
faces. In March 2020, the world stopped overnight
as the pandemic took over. One of my great sisters
said:

put your emotions into your paintings.
" With
no professional makeup work available and armed
with my makeup brushes and time, I painted. What
inspired me: people, faces, textures, nature,
colour...mixed media—whatever I had on hand.
Living this global shutdown, I discovered that I could
sustain myself with my affordable canvas, paints,
and makeup brushes. And colour. Lots of colour!
