Kath Beredo

Kath is an immigrant Artist from the Philippines. She has received awards and recognition from various art competitions in the years since she began her Artist career in the Philippines. In 2003, Kath won as the grand prize winner in “Sining Galing” and the following year won first place in the “Agri-leap” painting competition. She participated in the world record-breaking attempt to create the longest painting for the Guinness Book of World Records International Mid-decade Celebration of UNESCO for Culture of Peace & Non-Violence for the Children of the World in 2006. She also collaborated in several group exhibits in the Philippines while working as an Art Teacher. Kath attained her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts at the University of the Philippines, Diliman, in 2010. She works as a freelance Artist and has sold her paintings locally and internationally. Aside from being an Artist, Kath works as an Early Childhood Educator in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT
My art represents the profound beauty of nature. Through my paintings, I aim to capture the essence of nature's elegance and serenity, inviting viewers to experience the world with joy and wonder; by bringing the beauty of nature into our lives through art, we can foster a deeper connection with the environment and a greater appreciation for its preservation.
