ARTIST’S STATEMENT
Art for me is both therapeutic and an ongoing way to creatively challenge myself. Painting is a release of emotion, a letting go into a flow where I can lose myself into the colours, textures shapes and forms with no inhibitions. It gives me so much pleasure to share my art with others allowing them to feel or connect with my work. Painting nature as I feel it, catching a small moment that is relatable through a macro lens, using extraordinary colour and texture is my way to communicate how I see the world while encouraging the audience to see and feel it in their own way.
