Kristie Holden is a Toronto-based artist known for textured works inspired by the beach and horses. Her paintings explore moments that feel light, open, and free — walking along the shoreline, riding at sunset, pausing long enough to take a deep breath and feel fully present.

Drawing from her background in Fashion Design, Kristie incorporates hand-stitched fabrics, sand, and layered textures to create tactile, immersive surfaces. Her work blends romantic atmosphere with sculptural detail and invites viewers to slow down and soften the noise of everyday life.

Kristie was selected and votes top 5 for the People’s Artist, presented by Johnny Depp. She is currently presenting a solo exhibition at Langdon Hall and is represented by The Bayshore Gallery in Naples, Florida.

Art is meant to make you feel something. I want people that see and touch the texture of my work to feel calm and relaxed. The kind of art that reminds people to stop rushing. To Take a pause and a deep breath.
