My name is Kyle Bumacod and I was born in California. I specialize in oil painting with and abstract and realism style. Art has always been apart of me since my childhood. My father introduced me to art, showing me all kinds of different types of medias, both traditional and digital. Growing up I mainly did traditional, making comic books or illustrations, then when I went to the Art Institute in Hollywood, I refined my arts in both genres. After a year in the Institute I got a job as a graphic designer in a vehicle wrapping company. Not long after, the owner of the company gave me my own space to explore my artistic endeavors, and that's when I first started oil painting. Now I am on a new journey as an oil painter, I have found a style that I enjoy, but I want to continue growing and learning more in oil painting.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

The art that I create is my expression of what I feel. Whenever I paint, a sense of melody would radiate from my art even though there is no sound; A painting that you can hear. Expressing depression, love, and longing in something what I think is beauty. And I want people to feel there own type of essence in my paintings; To find there own feelings.
