Burning" is the latest addition to my Lyme Awareness Art series and it aims to illustrate the one of the main invisible symptoms of Lyme disease, the burning under the skin. This is how the artwork looks under a black light lamp, where the fluorescent colors used come alive. Created using an unique technique that enables the viewer to see the 2D artwork in 3D with the help of a certain type of glasses. It was inspired by an image of Borrelia Burgdorferi bacteria seen on a black field microscope.
